The North Electric 541wall phone is similar to the 554 model that all the other manufacturers had adopted, but with some differences. When all the other brands were using the same blueprints. North Electric made the 541 with their own unique look. This is a very hard to find phone.

The most unique feature (and what makes it so sought after) is the recessed dial. The finger wheel is flush with the face of the dial, not standing up above it.

The 541 did not have the modern wall mount that the 554 had, so this phone does need to be mounted directly to the wall.
