These Ericofons have been professionally painted. The finish on these phones is Polane
which is a polyurethane enamal that is much tougher then regular paint. The results are
absolutely stunning phones. |

These Ericofons were made in the USA by North
Electric in Galion, Ohio. LM Ericsson in Sweden owned a majority share in the telephone
maker, so to help fill demand for the Ericofon in the United State, they had Ericofons for
the American market made here. These phones were not marketed in any other part of the
world.
These Ericofons come with either the Ericotone (tweeter) ringer or no ringer in them and
come with standard North Electric dial face.Each phone I sell is carefully taken apart,
cleaned, lubricated, tested, and buffed to a like-new shine. I also re-wire the phones
with a modern plug so all you need to do is plug it in and use it.
