Automatic Electric is a telephone maker that was based in Chicago, IL. This model was introduced in 1940. This phone was commonly referred to as the "Shirley Temple" phone. The phone is made of Bakelite and shined up beautifully. The phone originally came with a straight handset cord, but later models used the curl cord.
